May/June Fundraising
Barnes & Noble
Join us at Barnes and Noble and The Counter to raise funds for our district music program. From May 30th to June 3rd, Barnes and Noble will be donating 10-15% of each sale (when you mention the Ed Foundation) back to our schools.
Barnes and Noble has a “wish basket” of books designated for each school that the librarians and principals would love to receive. Please pass along this flyer to your family and friends so that they can help your local school and our district at the same time!
The Counter
Come by on Wednesday, May 30th and have lunch or dinner at The Counter after your shopping trip. Bring along this flyer and The Counter will donate 15% to the Ed Foundation with each purchase!
Be a part of the First Annual District-Wide Bowling Event!
The San Mateo Foster City Education Foundation is hosting a Bowl-a-Thon to raise money for Kindergarten-5th grade and middle school music on April 22, 2012 at Bel Mateo Bowl.
Create a school team and bowl against your friends from other schools. Invite your teacher to bowl with you! Challenge another class at your school or a different grade level. Or better yet, challenge a neighboring school!
The school with the most participants will be awarded the Annual Bowling Trophy by Dr. Cynthia Simms, our District Superintendent. The winning school can claim the title of “District Bowling Champions” until they defend their title at the next bowling event.
Participants are asked to raise pledges for this event. A minimum of $20 in pledges is requested per student participant.
Download: the pledge sheet.
Earn great prizes!
There will be two different drawings with great prizes. One for students who raise more than $50 in pledges and another for students who raise more than $100 in pledges.
The student who raises the most amount of money will win 4 tickets to the San Francisco Giants!
